Product attributes such as nutrition, allergen and ingredient information, as well as supply chain data such as the height, width, depth and weight of a product or case, can be shared between trading partners in the foodservice supply chain using the Global Data Synchronisation Network (GDSN). Suppliers or producers only need to enter the data once, and the same accurate, trusted data can be seen and used by foodservice operators and all other trading partners, regardless of sector.
